Kaylee’s practice is concentrated in the area of insurance coverage and good faith claims handling.
Kaylee represents clients in the analysis and litigation of complex coverage matters including declaratory, breach of contract and extra-contractual actions throughout state and federal courts of Florida. She provides advice on good faith claims handling and negotiation and analysis of extra-contractual exposures under commercial, personal, and professional line policies. Kaylee is admitted to practice in both Florida and Colorado.
Prior to joining Stoler Russell Keener Verona, Kaylee served on active duty in the U.S. Army JAG Corps as advisory counsel and as Special Assistant U.S. Attorney. In those roles, she regularly advised senior military leaders on regulatory and ethical duties and government investigations. She continued her service in the U.S. Army Reserve as trial defense counsel until 2022.

- Obtained summary judgment in federal court action addressing the applicability of coverage for judgments in excess of 9 million dollars against putative additional insureds.
- Obtained summary judgment in federal court on behalf on insurer determining that policy did not provide coverage under bodily injury liability coverage for severe emotional distress with physical manifestations.
- Obtained final declaratory judgment in federal court addressing the applicability of the workers’ compensation and employer’s liability exclusions.
